Are you a social worker or a field worker who occasionally deals with issues related to employment or training? Would you like to have a structured overview of the various actors involved in socio-professional integration in Brussels so that you can better guide your audience to the structures best suited to their needs?
This training course will give you an overview of the employment structures that exist in Brussels and you will leave with a structured and relevant front-line intervention toolkit.

Understand the socio-professional integration process
Gain a structured overview of the sector and the four stages of the socio-professional integration process.
Differentiate between employment and training stakeholders
Know the stakeholders involved in each of these stages, the services they offer, and their conditions of access.
Raise awareness of the diversity of sectors offering employment opportunities
Identify and inform people about sectors offering employment opportunities (jobs of the future, critical jobs, and jobs in short supply).
OBJECTIVE
Effectively connecting people to employment and training opportunities
Be able to effectively guide the Brussels public by providing relevant information on the ISP sector and the Brussels job market based on demand, needs, situation, and skills
Understand the job seeker's overall situation.
Know how to listen to the person’s request and identify their needs by asking relevant questions.
Communicate useful information
Simplify the information to make it accessible and check that it has been understood.
Develop a positive approach
Be aware of the importance of motivation and a good attitude for a successful job search.
Methodology
Sharing and exchanging experiences
We place great importance on the exchange of knowledge, challenges, and experiences in the field between participants throughout the training.
Theoretical input
We review the essential concepts related to employment and training in Brussels, institutional actors, the job market, and more.
Role-playing
Simulations of real-life situations to help you practice using the tools reviewed during the training.
Exercises
Various exercises to put the concepts developed into practice will help you prepare for the realities of the field.
